About the Role As an SEN teaching assistant, you will: Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to support pupils with ASD Provide one-to-one and small-group support tailored to individual needs Support pupils with engagement, communication, and emotional regulation Assist in implementing structured routines and behaviour strategies Adapt learning activities to support different abilities and learning styles Help create a safe, consistent, and inclusive learning environment This SEN teaching assistant role is a full-time, long-term opportunity in Newcastle-under-Lyme, with potential for a permanent position.
