Our client, a leading international law firm, is seeking an associate to join its highly regarded Commodities & Shipping Disputes team in London. This is an excellent opportunity to work as part of a global practice advising clients on complex, high-value contentious matters.
The role involves acting on a broad range of disputes relating to international trade, commodities, and shipping. The successful candidate will work closely with a market-leading team on international arbitration and litigation, with the opportunity for significant client contact and involvement in high-profile cases. The team is dynamic, growing, and well-integrated across key global hubs including London, Singapore, Australia, and the Middle East.
The ideal candidate will have between 3 and 5 years' post-qualification experience, with a strong background in commodities and shipping disputes. Additional experience in related arbitration or litigation matters will be valued. Candidates must be qualified as a solicitor in England & Wales and possess excellent drafting, matter management, and interpersonal skills. Additional language abilities would be an asset.
