Buffets Venue Manager – Skegness
Butlin’s is looking for a passionate leader to join our Buffets department and drive an exceptional guest experience from breakfast to dinner.
About the Role
As Venue Manager you will oversee daily operations of a self‑service buffet restaurant, ensuring high standards of hygiene, guest service, and brand consistency. You will inspire, coach, and develop a team in a fast‑paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the team to maintain brand standards, delivering an enjoyable dining experience.
* Drive hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety compliance.
* Analyse performance KPIs, monitor training schedules, and implement effective rota planning.
* Facilitate regular 1‑to‑1 coaching, PDP discussions, and 121s to support team development.
* Operate efficiently within shift schedules, including weekend, bank holiday, and Christmas work.
Qualifications
* Prior experience in a high‑volume catering or food service environment.
* Strong guest‑facing and complaint handling skills.
* Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage performance, and deliver training.
* Proficient in managing rotas against fluctuating guest volumes.
* Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities.
What We Offer
Typical working hours cover 40 hours per week, 5 days over 7 with a variety of shifts between 7am – 9pm, including support across the wider department on times.
