3. 1 x 12 hours per week
Contract Type: Permanent

About the Role
We are recruiting Waking Night Support Workers to provide high‑quality, person‑centred support to adults with learning disabilities, autism, and/or acquired brain injuries.
In this rewarding role, you will support individuals to live as independently as possible, make informed choices, and achieve their personal goals both at home and within their local community.
No formal qualifications are required - we are looking for people with the right values, attitude, and commitment. Full paid induction and ongoing training are provided.
Key Responsibilities
4. Provide waking night support to ensure the safety and wellbeing of individualsDeliver person-centred support in line with individual support plans and risk assessmentsRespond appropriately to any needs or incidents during the nightSupport with personal care where required, maintaining dignity and respect at all timesPromote independence, choice, and a calm overnight environmentEnsure safeguarding responsibilities are met and concerns are reported in line with policyAccurately complete night-time records, reports, and documentationWork closely with day staff, managers, and wider teams to ensure continuity of care
Essential Criteria
5. Personal or work-related experience providing care or support (formal or informal experience accepted)
6. Ability and willingness to work waking night shifts
7. Full flexibility to meet service needs
8. A caring, patient, and respectful approach
9. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
10. Basic digital skills to complete records and use online systems
11. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
12. Willingness to complete Enhanced Access NI clearance
13. Willingness to register with NISCC (Northern Ireland Social Care Council)
