Key responsibilities Provide advice and representation on complex contentious matters, including: Will disputes and challenges to testamentary capacity Inheritance (Provision for Family & Dependants) Act 1975 claims Proprietary estoppel claims Lifetime gift recovery claims Cross-border and international probate issues Work on cases involving private individuals and charitable organisations Develop and maintain strong relationships with external referrers and Counsel Notable experience you gain exposure on: Acting for clients defending or pursuing claims under the Inheritance Act 1975 Representing beneficiaries in proprietary estoppel claims involving family businesses or farms Challenging wills based on testamentary capacity or undue influence, including managing expert evidence Applying for the removal or substitution of executors to ensure proper estate administration Your experience: Qualified Solicitor Minimum 2 years PQE, with litigation experience Demonstrable interest in contentious probate This is a rare opportunity to join a highly regarded, supportive team and work on some of the most interesting and high-profile probate disputes in the region.
