Mortgage Advisor - Estate Agency Location: Cheshunt, Hertfordshire Salary: £32,000 - £40,000 basic (depending on experience) Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:45am - 6:00pm - can potentially be flexible with hours No weekends - Monday to Friday role About the Role We are recruiting for a professional and client-focused Mortgage Advisor to join a well-established estate agency in Cheshunt. The role offers a clear salary progression based on experience, qualifications and performance, with the upper end of the salary band reserved for highly experienced advisors. Key Responsibilities Provide expert mortgage and protection advice to clients. Conduct fact finds and assess clients' financial circumstances. Source and recommend suitable mortgage products from a wide panel of lenders. Manage mortgage applications from initial enquiry through to completion. Maintain full compliance with FCA regulations and internal procedures. Build strong relationships with clients, estate agency colleagues and lenders. Deliver excellent customer service throughout the entire mortgage journey. About You Fully CeMAP qualified (or equivalent). For the upper salary band (£40,000): Must hold all CAS qualifications. Minimum 5 years' experience as a Mortgage Advisor. Strong knowledge of the mortgage market and lending criteria. Professional, trustworthy and client-focused approach. Excellent communication and organisational skills. Able to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
