GSL Education are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Social, Emotional, and Mental Health Teacher to support students with social, emotional, and mental health needs across schools in Dinnington (S25). This is a rewarding opportunity for an SEMH Teacher who is passionate about helping students overcome challenges and reach their full potential.
What to Expect in This SEMH Teacher Role:
* Deliver tailored lessons and support for students with SEMH needs.
* Create a safe, structured, and nurturing classroom environment.
* Support students in developing emotional regulation, resilience, and social skills.
* Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral teams to implement personalised support plans.
* Monitor student progress and contribute to their wellbeing and learning outcomes.
Requirements for This SEMH Teacher Role:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Experience working with students with SEMH needs is desirable.
* Strong classroom management, empathy, and adaptability.
* Patient, professional, and proactive approach to student support.
* Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice.
* An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one through GSL Education.
