About The Role
We are currently recruiting for an exciting position: a Saturday Flexible Early Years and Family Support Assistant across Lincolnshire.

You will join an experienced team of early years and family educators, working across Lincolnshire children’s centres and communities to deliver the new Early Years and Family Service. Your role will support children in having the best start in life through high-quality, fun, and educational sessions that promote child development, early learning, positive health outcomes, and positive parenting, including emotional literacy. Main duties of the role
* Work across delivery sites in Lincolnshire on Saturdays to provide essential Early Years sessions, ensuring consistent service delivery.
* Deliver high-quality, engaging sessions for children and families to support development, learning, health, and parenting.
* Plan, deliver, and evaluate sessions to encourage parental engagement in children’s learning and well-being.
* Collaborate with other professionals within an integrated early years team to provide seamless support and facilitate access to health and social care services.
Essential Criteria
* Commitment to ongoing professional development; experience working with children aged 0-5 and their families.
* Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with diverse stakeholders.
* Understanding of multi-agency working with early help, social care, and early years settings.
* Knowledge of Children’s Centres’ aims, objectives, and national developments for children aged 0-5.
* Good understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures.
Desirable Criteria
* NVQ 2 in Early Years Care and Education or equivalent, or a relevant health and social care degree.
* Knowledge of child development, EYFS, and learning through play.
Additional Information
Allowances: Mileage at 35p per mile from an agreed base.
Hours: As and When Required.
All successful applicants must register with the DBS Update Service and undertake a new enhanced disclosure and barring check.
