Health & Safety Manager (QSHE)
Essex | London Projects | Up to £65,000 + Package
A well-established Sub contractor with over 20 years of successful delivery across London is looking to appoint a Quality, Health & Safety Manager to support projects across the region.
This is a key role within a stable and growing business, working closely with Directors and operational teams to maintain high safety standards across multiple live projects.
We are open to candidates currently operating as Health & Safety Managers or strong Senior H&S Advisors looking to step up.
The Opportunity
You will support the delivery of mechanical and electrical installation projects across London, ensuring safe working practices and strong compliance across multiple sites.
This role offers genuine ownership and visibility across the business, with the chance to influence systems, processes and site safety culture.
Key Responsibilities
* Carrying out site inspections and audits across multiple projects
* Reviewing and supporting RAMS and safe systems of work
* Ensuring compliance with CDM Regulations and UK legislation
* Supporting project teams with practical Health & Safety advice
* Leading incident and near-miss investigations
* Delivering toolbox talks and supporting workforce engagement
* Supporting QSHE systems and ISO compliance
* Liaising with subcontractors and clients on safety matters
* Driving continuous improvement across safety performance
About You
You will likely come from a construction, M&E, fit-out or building services background.
We are open to candidates at different levels provided you can demonstrate strong site-based Health & Safety experience.
Essential:
* Experience within construction or M&E environments
* ISO experience (9001 / 45001 / 14001)
* Strong knowledge of CDM Regulations
* Experience reviewing RAMS
* NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent)
* Full UK driving licence
Desirable:
* NEBOSH Construction
* GradIOSH / CMIOSH
