Are you a highly organised and analytical individual with a keen eye for detail? We're seeking a Transactional Claims Analyst to join our Global Shared Services Centre in Ipswich. In this role, you'll be responsible for the accurate calculation and processing of transactional items, focusing on rules-based, low-risk claims and contracts.This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team that provides essential processing services across various international markets. What You'll Be Doing:
Accurately and efficiently calculate and process inwards and/or outwards transactional claims and contracts in accordance with agreed processes and claims segmentation rules.
Assist other Global Shared Services Centre teams with queries in a timely and professional manner, communicating effectively via email, Teams, or face-to-face meetings.
Process requests for letter of credit creation, increases, withdrawals, and cancellations, as well as bonds, following established procedures.
Provide process and claims support to other business units to enhance overall efficiency.
Contribute to projects involving the Global Shared Services Centre, ensuring efficient and effective integration while respecting timelines and deadlines.
Collaborate with team members, offering support and demonstrating adaptability and flexibility by covering different portfolios, geographical markets, or types of reinsurance based on business urgency.
What We're Looking For: Technical Skills:
Strong IT skills, particularly in Excel.
Good working knowledge of various classes of insurance and reinsurance business.
Preferable: Technical reinsurance experience, including calculation of figures in key reinsurance types (e.g., Excess of Loss, Quota Share, Surplus) and major markets (e.g., USA, Continental Europe, London Market).
Preferable: Insurance claims handling experience.
