Trainee Pharmacy Assistant - Glossop (Job Ref: 11659)
We are looking to recruit a 40‑hour Trainee Pharmacy Assistant on a fixed‑term contract to work at our 451‑branch located at 77 High Street East, Glossop, SK13 8PN.
Shift Pattern
* Monday 09:00-18:00 (1‑hour unpaid lunch break)
* Tuesday 09:00-18:00 (1‑hour unpaid lunch break)
* Wednesday 09:00-18:00 (1‑hour unpaid lunch break)
* Thursday 09:00-18:00 (1‑hour unpaid lunch break)
* Friday 09:00-18:00 (1‑hour unpaid lunch break)
Whilst working in this branch you will gain excellent knowledge and skills which will contribute to you successfully gaining the recognised Counter Course and NVQ level 2 qualification in Dispensing.
We are seeking a candidate with previous customer service experience who is willing to undertake the relevant training courses in order to progress.
Duties include accurate dispensing and labelling of prescription items with guidance and supervision from the Pharmacist; assisting with ordering and managing stock levels within the dispensary and the shop; maintaining attention to detail; working under pressure and strict deadlines; and a desire to learn and progress your career within our business.
Great people skills are essential as this role requires working as part of a well‑established team and ensuring customers receive a high standard of service.
