We are recruiting an Electrically Biased Maintenance Engineer for a well-established and highly regarded automated distribution business with multiple sites across the UK. The Role You'll be part of a shift-based engineering team, responsible for maintaining highly automated systems to ensure maximum up time and performance. The role is hands-on, with a strong focus on electrical fault finding, planned maintenance, and continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities include:
* Electrical fault finding on automated machinery and conveyor systems
* Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive breakdowns
* Working with PLC-controlled equipment (fault finding, not programming)
* Supporting mechanical maintenance when required
* Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in line with site standards
* Contributing to reliability improvements and continuous improvement initiatives
About You This role is ideal for an apprentice-trained engineer with a strong electrical bias and experience in fast-paced environments such as Food, FMCG, or Automated Distribution.
