Procurement & Logistics Coordinator
This is a Fixed Term Contract (12 months) with the possibility of turning permanent.
Orion is working with a market leader in the manufacturing industry that specialises in developing advanced materials for a variety of applications, including electric vehicles and energy storage systems.
They are seeking a dedicated Procurement & Logistics Coordinator to join their innovative team working on cutting-edge technology with potential global impact. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining procurement and logistics databases, supporting capital projects, assisting with end-to-end logistics processes, and executing operational procurement in line with company procedures and best practices.
Responsibilities of the Procurement & Logistics Coordinator
Processing and raising purchase orders within their ERP system (NetSuite).
Administering supplier setup and maintenance in ERP.
Monitoring stock levels of critical spares and reordering as needed.
Supporting the operations team in sourcing goods and services.
Receiving and logging goods physically and in ERP.
identifying and achieving cost savings.
Assisting colleagues within the procurement team with administrative tasks.
Requirements of the Procurement & Logistics Coordinator
Minimum of 2 years relevant industrial experience in procurement.
Proven experience in order placement and expediting.
Experience organising logistics and managing supply chains.
Proficiency with MRP/ERP systems.
Supporting negotiations and supplier management.
Excellent communication skills with a focus on data accuracy and timeliness.
