Salary: £80,000 - 80,000 per year Requirements: Experience contributing to enterprise architecture initiatives within a large or complex organization. Experience influencing an organization’s architecture strategy and roadmap, including transitioning from current to future states. Proven ability to network and collaborate with senior stakeholders, driving innovation and continuous improvement. Experience in guiding and mentoring architecture teams, ensuring their objectives align with broader organizational goals. Responsibilities: I will lead efforts across multiple architectural domains, ensuring alignment with DVLA’s objectives while fostering continual improvement. I will communicate and collaborate with senior stakeholders across enterprises, seeking opportunities for enhancement. I will support at least one community or team, or a combination of both. I will identify and utilize best practices and emerging technologies and approaches. I will lead teams, including enterprise architects, to help them understand how to deliver the team's objectives in alignment with organizational goals. I will conduct horizon scanning for influences or risks that could impact or create opportunities for the organization. I will take a leading role in the overall direction of business and digital capabilities. Technologies: Architect Support Network TOGAF More: As a Lead Enterprise Architect at DVLA, I will play a pivotal part in shaping and delivering our enterprise architecture strategy. I will be instrumental in defining and maintaining our organization's architecture vision, strategy, and roadmaps across current, transitional, and future states. The salary for this role will be up to £80,400, depending on interview assessment, along with an over 28% employer pension contribution and other Civil Service benefits. I have the opportunity to support a function that may require DV clearance, and while this is not a mandatory requirement, DVLA will apply for it on my behalf once I am in post, offering further scope for professional growth and influence.
