Primary Pastoral Support Assistant – SEMH
Location: Sunderland
Pay: £90–£110 per day
Contract: Full-Time
This Pastoral Support Assistant role focuses on supporting pupils’ emotional wellbeing and behaviour throughout the school day.
You’ll help pupils navigate challenges, build resilience and feel supported within the school environment.
Key duties:
• Providing emotional and pastoral support
• Supporting pupils during transitions and break times
• Encouraging emotional regulation
• Supporting classroom engagement
• Working closely with pastoral and teaching staff
Ideal for someone empathetic and emotionally aware.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
