The Opportunity
Our built environment and engineering systems are becoming increasingly complex due to changing use, new legislation, emergent development, or disruption from new technologies. The risks to society from complex technical and engineering system failures are constantly evolving. Our risk, security, and resilience practice has helped organizations understand their exposure to threats and make better risk-informed decisions since the mid-1990s. Our team of experts is trusted by private and public-sector clients, providing strategic risk management, technical risk assessment, operational planning, security engineering, and counter-terrorism design measures tailored to their needs.
You will join Arup as a Senior Consultant in our technical safety, risk, and reliability engineering team, focusing on sustainable development across various markets and industries. You will be a technical specialist, promoting our service offerings, developing, and growing our team of Technical Safety, Risk, and Reliability consultants. Your projects will range from advisory to engineering solutions across different project lifecycle stages.
Your role will be client-facing, fostering relationships through project delivery and work winning. You will guide project teams to advise clients and deliver better solutions, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to address unique client challenges. You will be part of a passionate team dedicated to managing technical safety, risk, and reliability to shape a safer, more reliable, and sustainable future.
At Arup, you belong to an extraordinary collective that encourages individuality. Our strength comes from respecting, sharing, and connecting diverse experiences, perspectives, and ideas. You will have opportunities to do meaningful work that benefits Arup, your career, our members, and the communities we serve.
