Purpose of the Role
The Wellbeing Lead is responsible for delivering a transformational wellbeing experience for every resident, ensuring that daily life is rich in meaning, joy, connection and purpose.
This role is hands-on — not office-based, not observational — but present on the floor, designing and delivering high-impact experiences that make residents feel alive, valued and connected to the world around them.
The Wellbeing Lead drives a creative, ambitious and outward-facing wellbeing programme — one that sees possibilities, not limitations.
They ensure that wellbeing is not “activities” but a life experience, and that every resident, regardless of ability, receives sessions tailored to their needs, personality and preferences.
They lead the Wellbeing Partners and ensure wellbeing practice across the home reflects CHG values, innovation and excellence.
About The Role
This role runs over a 7 day week rota.
The Wellbeing Lead is responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Organise and plan activity programmes
* To develop and plan programmes, outings and events, staffing the events and overseeing the implementation of activities. Ensure the programme reflects the wishes and preferences of the current population of the organisation.
* To support and enable people we support to access social networks and maintain personal interests in accordance with best practice, agreed standards, legislation and within the financial budget.

* Produce newsletters to inform people we support and their relatives/friends about what is going on Support people we support to access the internet and other communication methods such as letter writing, Skype and FaceTime.
* Plan events within allocated budget
* Ensure people we support are at the heart of events and programmes to enhance their wellbeing
* Be responsible for promoting and protecting the welfare of those individuals supported by the service.

* Work in cooperation with members of the multidisciplinary teams to maximise opportunities for people in the service.
