Our client is a long-established and technically advanced manufacturer within the inks and coatings sector, operating as part of a successful international group. With recent investment and a clear strategic direction, the business is seeking a talented Production Manager to take responsibility for the 2-Piece and UV Flexo operations at their Northwest facility. This is a key role with responsibility for overall production performance, efficiency, compliance, and continuous improvement. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the highest standards of safety, quality, and service are delivered while supporting the strategic growth of the business.
Responsibilities
* Lead, motivate, and develop a multi-shift production team to consistently achieve targets.
* Act as a health, safety, and wellbeing ambassador, driving compliance and promoting a safe culture.
* Oversee production planning and KPI delivery, investigate variances, and embed corrective actions.
* Collaborate with engineering, planning, HR, and training to ensure workforce capability and operational readiness.
* Champion continuous improvement initiatives, driving efficiency and best practice.
* Support customer fulfilment, ensuring orders are delivered on time, in full, and to the highest standards.
Candidate Profile
* Experienced production leader with a proven track record in manufacturing operations.
* Strong people management, analytical problem-solving, commercial awareness, and ability to inspire high performance.
* Collaborative, proactive, and results-driven with a focus on continuous improvement.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: ability to work with Engineering, HR, and other departments to address cross-team issues affecting production performance and people management.
Desirable attributes include strong leadership, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, self-motivation, and alignment with the company's culture and values.
