An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Family Solicitor to join my clients team in their Liverpool, Merseyside offices. This role would be suited to a newly qualified or recently qualified Family Solicitor who's looking to develop their career with a leading law firm. Person Specification & Requirements: • Experience in advising on a variety of Family matters • Strong time-management and ability to manage own caseload • Advocacy experience is desirable but not essential • Knowledge and experience of Legal Aid • Genuine passion for Family law • Commercially minded • Panel membership or working towards would be a distinct advantage Key Responsibilities: • Responsible for earning fees by actively working towards individual and departmental targets and objectives as set by HOD • Private and Public matters | • Domestic Abuse | • Non-molestation • CCMS applications, amendments and POAs • Arrange and attend meetings with clients ensuring a professional service and excellent client care standards • Negotiate with clients and other professionals to secure agreed objectives • Attend court hearings, prison visits, police stations and any other off-site requirements • Legal Aid work • Monitoring, actioning, and updating various electronic portals • Research and analyse documents and case law to ensure the accuracy of advice and procedure • Build key relationships with the firm’s client base and wider external industry • Keep up to date with changes and developments in the law by reading journals and law reports • Be commercially minded and contribute towards the growth and development of the Firm by identifying opportunities to expand business • Provide advice and guidance to other employees throughout the Firm, including supervising and training trainee solicitors and paralegals Benefits and Remuneration: • 25 Days Holiday plus public holidays, increasing with length of service up to 30 days. • Additional Birthday Holiday • Optional 1 day per week home working. • Free Parking • Staff social and team building events • Friendly, supportive, and personable team environment • Professional development and training opportunities including access to a wide range of webinars Should you have any questions or wish to apply please do not hesitate to contact Clear Legal Recruitment Limited.
