Job Title: Forklift Operative
Job Type: Temporary (Holiday cover from December 12th to the 23rd)
Location: Letchworth
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am-4.30pm (4pm Friday finish)
Hourly Rate: £13.00-£14.00 per hour (DOE)
Our extremely busy client based in Letchworth are looking for a Forklift Operative to join their team on a 2-week Temporary basis to help out with holiday cover. We are looking for a well rounded candidate with previous Warehouse & Logistics experience who can be available to pretty much start immediately and be open to short term temporary work.
Main duties as a Forklift Operative:
- Loading and unloading deliveries using Forklift trucks
- Picking and packing customer orders to be readied for dispatch
- Processing and reviewing order/pick sheets
- Daily Forklift checks
- Quality checking production before dispatch
- Heavy lifting large loads
- Pallet loading and wrapping
What's needed as a Forklift Operative:
- MUST have a Combi-Lift FLT license
- Previous Warehouse & Logistics experience
- Available immediately and open to short term temporary work
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy loads
- Ability to work well within a team
