As a Specialist Support Trainer, you’ll help our teams feel confident, capable, and inspired to make a real difference every day. This role is all about helping others grow — from supporting new starters during induction to refreshing and expanding the knowledge of experienced colleagues. You’ll deliver engaging, hands-on learning across areas such as Positive Behaviour Support (PBS), physical intervention (in line with the Restraint Reduction Network Training Standards ), and person-specific conditions. Working closely with our Practitioners, you’ll identify learning needs and design creative training solutions that bring our values to life. What you’ll do Deliver interactive, inclusive training sessions that spark confidence and curiosity. Motivate and inspire learners to reach their potential. Support staff in understanding PBS and least restrictive practices. Adapt your delivery style to suit different learning needs. Give constructive feedback and encourage continuous improvement. Lead on specialist topics such as Autism, Mental Health, or Acquired Brain Injury (with full training and support). What you’ll bring At least 2 years’ experience in health, social care, or education. Knowledge of Positive Behaviour Support and person-centred care. Experience in delivering or facilitating training, coaching, or mentoring. A confident, engaging presentation style and a passion for developing others. A recognised training qualification (e.g. Level 3 Award in Education & Training ) or willingness to achieve it. A current Emergency First Aid at Work certificate or willingness to complete one.
