1. Advise the Commanding Officer on matters relating to all ES policy and regulations. 2. Achieve the required standards for the Logistic Support and Land Equipment Assurance inspection. 3. Ensure compliance with all regulations relating to ES policy, current SNVe, SHE, COSHH. 4. Personnel: Technical support to ES Military and civilian staff. 5. Equipment: Weapons, Vehicles, associated equipment and workshop infrastructure. 6. Provide SME advice and co-ordinate application of equipment husbandry measures to meet current unit LEA criteria. 7. Liaison and coordination with external agencies across defence. In relation to ES matters and NRRC. 8. Use the following systems to manage and monitor all equipment; MJDI administrator, JAMES - Senior Equipment Manager and UAA, DURALS, VERITAS, TDOL, BUCK, Market Place, DRS and Power BI. 9. Responsible for the career management of FTRS Armourers and Civilian Fitters in coordination with Bty's PSAOs 10. Advice the regiment in the absence of the QM(T) on ES matters. 11. Main planning officer for all Light Gun requirements within organisation. 12. Apply all current aspects of Engineering Hygiene, Equipment Care to normal work practices, conducting training/briefings when and as required. 13. Programme attendance of Armouries to attend periods of Live Firing. 14. Conduct EUCD audits and assurance checks across the regiment. 15. Ensure that all authorised modification are completed in accordance with equipment AESPs 16. Other duties as required, e.g. CNO/CVO.
