Scientific Content Creator
Location
This position is to be based in the UK. Purpose & Scope
* This is an exciting time to become part of a newly established team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping and developing the function, taking ownership of impactful scientific content, and driving excellence across the organization.
* Leveraging your expertise and experience, you will not only deliver high‑quality outputs but also provide mentorship and guidance to colleagues, supporting their growth and strengthening cross‑functional collaboration.
Role and Responsibilities
* Lead the creation of evidence disclosures, including congress abstracts and manuscripts, ensuring timely publication of Astellas‑generated data.
* Utilise AI tools to draft and refine scientific content, achieving the highest standards of medical accuracy.
* Develop global templates for healthcare professional engagement, supporting omnichannel strategies.
* Mentor junior content creators, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
* Ensure all scientific content aligns with Astellas’ brand strategy and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
* Extensive experience from within Medical Affairs or Medical Communications, with a strong background in Medical Writing.
* Proven ability to translate complex scientific concepts into compelling narratives and visuals.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
* In‑depth knowledge of clinical design and drug development processes.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills, with effective interpersonal abilities.
* Able to leverage expertise to guide colleagues without formal line management responsibility and influence cross‑functional stakeholders.
* MSc in a life science or healthcare‑related field or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
* PhD, PharmD, or MD is preferred.
* Familiarity with Agile methodologies and digital tools.
* Experience in mentoring or people leadership.
