This is a flagship business within a well-established group, offering the perfect opportunity for an experienced leader to take ownership of a beautiful, high-volume site and make a real impact. The venue combines the charm of a traditional country pub with a modern dining experience. Guests enjoy a Mediterranean-inspired, freshly cooked menu, prepared in an open kitchen featuring charcoal grills and a wood-fired pizza oven. With a turnover of around £45,000£50,000 per week and a team of 50+, this role requires a confident and commercially minded General Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment and loves leading from the front. Key Responsibilities Lead, motivate, and develop a large front and back-of-house team.
Deliver exceptional guest experiences and maintain consistently high standards.
Drive sales through creative local marketing, events, and community engagement.
Manage budgets, forecasting, and cost control to ensure sustained profitability.
Uphold all licensing, food safety, and health & safety standards.
Coach, mentor, and develop team members to achieve their full potential.
Build a positive, collaborative culture through regular meetings and incentives.
Ideal Candidate Experienced General Manager with a proven background in high-volume, food-led operations (ideally £4050k weekly turnover).
Strong people leadership and communication skills.
Commercially astute, confident managing P&L, and skilled in driving business performance.
Guest-centric, hands-on, and passionate about fresh food and service excellence.
