The Role:
To support a young man living with Muscular Dystrophy, to live an exciting and fulfilling life.
Main Duties:
* To provide all aspects of personal care
* To use a hoist
* Food and drink preparation
* To support getting out of bed / going to bed each day
* To attend Dr / hospital appointments as and when required
* You will also be required to cover for colleagues on leave and sickness, and on occasions work extra hours, agreed in advance
* To assist to attend social events, such as meeting friends, day trips, and evening trips
Personal Qualities and Attributes required:
* Respectful of confidentiality and privacy
* Responsible, reliable, and trustworthy
* Respectful of dignity and independence
* Good communication skills and social skills
* Punctual, and flexible
* Suitable for a casual working environment but always remaining professional.
Car owner with driving licence is essential.
Hours: Part or full time hours available, and can be negotiated.
Pay: £13.50 per hour
Holidays: 28 days per year (pro rata) including Bank holidays
You must be able to prove the right to work in the UK. No sponsorships are available.
