The Opportunity
Parcel2Go is investing heavily in its digital strategy - and you can play a pivotal role. We're looking for a Senior SEO Manager to lead organic growth across Parcel2Go's owned sites and white label partners.
Search is shifting quickly, with discovery fragmenting across Google features, marketplaces and AI-driven results. Your role is to ensure we remain visible, competitive and growing through that shift - focused on acquiring mSME customers and driving Smart Send adoption.
The Role
You will act as the senior SEO lead within the Marketing team, owning both strategy and hands-on delivery across technical SEO, content, authority and performance.
You’ll manage a small team, oversee agency delivery, and work cross-functionally with Product, Tech, Data and PR to drive results.
You will be accountable for organic performance across Parcel2Go’s core UK site and support SEO across white label partners.
What You\'ll Do
SEO Strategy and Execution
* Own and deliver the SEO strategy and roadmap
* Prioritise initiatives based on impact, effort and commercial return
* Identify and execute growth opportunities across key journeys, particularly quotes and Smart Send
* Build SEO forecasts and model traffic and revenue impact to support planning and investment decisions
* Design and run SEO experiments to validate hypotheses and unlock incremental growth
Technical SEO and Product Partnership
* Represent SEO within product and engineering planning, ensuring requirements are prioritised
* Lead site architecture, internal linking and URL structure optimisation
* Drive best practice across crawlability, indexation, Core Web Vitals and technical performance
* Lead SEO input into site migrations, feature launches and platform changes
* Establish processes to ensure SEO is embedded into all relevant product workflows
Content and Authority
* Own the SEO content strategy across commercial and informational intent
* Own relationship with CMS system provider
* Brief and oversee content delivery across internal teams and agency partners
* Define and support Digital PR and link acquisition strategy to grow authority
* Optimise content and structure for visibility across AI-driven and zero-click search environments
* Identify opportunities to increase brand visibility within generative search and answer engines
Conversion and Performance
* Work with Product and UX teams to improve conversion rates across organic journeys
* Ensure SEO performance is measured not just by traffic, but by revenue and customer quality
* Diagnose performance issues and identify root causes to drive continuous improvement
White Label Partners
* Drive SEO performance for contracted partners, delivering against agreed scope
* Provide best-practice guidance and proactive recommendations to non-contracted partners
* Proactively identify risks and opportunities across partner sites and ecosystems
Measurement and Reporting
* Own SEO reporting across rankings, visibility, traffic, conversion and revenue
* Work hands-on with GA4 and Looker Studio, partnering with Data teams for deeper analysis
* Communicate SEO performance, insights and strategy clearly to senior stakeholders
Team and Agency
* Manage and develop SEO and Content Executives
* Own the SEO agency relationship, ensuring quality delivery and ROI
* Build scalable SEO processes across teams and partners
What You'll Bring
* 5+ years of SEO experience with strong technical SEO foundations
* Proven track record driving organic growth for a commercial or e-commerce website
* Strong understanding of technical SEO, content strategy and authority building
* Strong analytical skills, with hands-on experience in GA4 and Looker Studio
* Experience with Screaming Frog, SEMrush, Ahrefs, JetOctopus, SE Ranking, Keywords Everywhere or similar
* Experience working with Product, Tech and Data teams in an agile environment
* Experience managing people and/or agency relationships
* Commercial mindset with a clear focus on revenue impact
* Awareness of how AI-driven search and generative engines are reshaping organic discovery, and how to adapt strategies accordingly
* Experience with international SEO
* Ability to influence stakeholders and communicate complex ideas clearly
