HR Coordinator
The Growth Company’s (GC) Corporate Services team has an exciting opportunity for a HR Coordinator, to Process administrative changes throughout the employee life cycle in line with business needs, whilst providing advice, guidance and information on various HR related matters. Ensure compliance within GC policy guidelines and that legislative requirements are met.
This role is a fixed term contract till 11/09/2026.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide clear and timely advice to managers and staff on company policies and procedures in line with HR Service Desk SLAs.
2. Advise on and process contractual changes including probation completions, flexible working requests, salary amendments, and contract extensions.
3. Respond to queries regarding sickness, maternity, paternity, adoption, and parental leave, ensuring correct procedures are followed.
4. Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records across HR systems and files.
5. Ensure all pay-related changes are submitted in time for monthly payroll deadlines.
6. Act as first point of contact for HR queries from internal and external stakeholders, escalating where appropriate.
7. Support HR Operations with administrative tasks related to organisational changes and TUPE processes.
8. Contribute to HR and recruitment projects, helping to develop and implement new initiatives across GC.

9. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build effective working relationships.
10. Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional and confident manner.
11. Generalist HR experience with a proactive and hands-on approach.
12. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, commercial environment.
13. Flexible, calm under pressure, and able to handle multiple priorities.
Skills & Experience Required:
14. Minimum GCSE grade C (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
15. Confident using Microsoft Office packages, particularly Outlook, Excel, and Word.
16. At least 2 years of experience in a customer-facing administrative role, ideally within HR or recruitment.
17. Highly organised with the ability to manage high volumes of work and maintain attention to detail.
18. Discreet and professional, with a strong understanding of confidentiality and data protection.
