FCRMS Asset Management Business Systems Team Senior Advisor - 32232
The Environment Agency creates better places for people, wildlife, and the environment. We put the climate emergency at the heart of everything we do and help society adapt to environmental challenges such as flooding, drought, sea level rise and coastal change.
Our asset management business system includes carbon management to meet our corporate objective of becoming a Net Zero Carbon organisation. Carbon management is fully embedded in the delivery of our infrastructure programme and in the management of assets. The carbon management process is supported by existing and developing tools that enable construction projects and suppliers to meet mandatory carbon assessment requirements, ultimately allowing the EA to produce a carbon footprint for all assets that need to be reduced over future years.
The Asset Management Business Systems Team supports all EA teams and suppliers in their use of carbon tools, ensuring they become a core part of the asset management system that operates alongside other AMBST supported tools for the infrastructure programme and asset management.
