Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Resourcing Manager to lead the end‑to‑end resourcing service across the Trust, supporting the workforce strategy and ensuring the attraction, recruitment and retention of staff needed for outstanding patient care.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead day‑to‑day operational delivery of the Trust’s resourcing service, ensuring an efficient and compliant recruitment process across all staff groups.
* Manage a team of recruitment professionals, provide expert advice to managers and ensure all recruitment activity aligns with NHS Employment Check Standards, Trust policies and employment legislation.
* Lead on the delivery of professional, comprehensive and efficient services, seeking and acting on feedback.
* Communicate complex information on recruitment‑related issues (redeployment, sickness absence, job evaluation) and deliver specialist recruitment & selection training sessions.
* Oversee the provision of advice and support to managers on Trust policy, procedural interpretation and organisational practice.
* Analyse, review and develop recruitment and retention strategies, aligned to Trust objectives, values and vision, in partnership with the Head of Resourcing and HR Business Partners.
Qualifications
* Significant experience in a recruitment or resourcing role, ideally within the NHS or a large, complex organisation.
* Experience managing or supervising staff.
* Strong knowledge of NHS recruitment processes and safer employment requirements.
* Highly organised, data‑driven, confident at managing competing priorities.
* Demonstrated excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
