Join us as a Credit Analyst, Securitisation Credit Risk This is an opportunity for a motivated individual to start or develop a career in credit risk, working alongside experienced professionals to learn securitisation credit processes and develop core analytical skills You’ll assist in reviewing borrowing applications and support senior team members in preparing credit assessments in accordance with current risk appetite, process and procedures, whilst working towards gaining your own delegated authority You’ll develop credit skills and gain valuable exposure as you establish and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders, acting as an ambassador for the team and risk function What you'll do We’ll look to you to support the sanctioning of credit solutions within the bank’s risk appetite, while providing assurance of consistent and disciplined credit underwriting in line with risk appetite, with key risks identified. This role offers structured training, mentoring, and the chance to progress into more senior credit roles over time. You’ll gain exposure to securitisation structures, credit policies, and risk frameworks and help monitor compliance under guidance from senior colleagues. It’ll also be your responsibility to: Undertake quality risk assessments across a range of lending requests from customers Ensure the needs and impact upon the customer are considered through all aspects of the risk assessment process allowing fair outcomes for our customers Work collaboratively to make sure the team deliver responses within agreed deadlines Develop procedures to apply core credit policies to securitisation to ensure they’re fit for purpose, as well as shaping and challenging product and asset class risk appetite The skills you'll need We’re looking for someone eager to learn, with strong attention to detail, good numerical skills, and an interest in credit risk and financial markets. Previous experience in finance or a related degree is helpful but is not essential. You’ll need to hold a formal banking qualification or have equivalent professional experience, or the commitment to obtain a qualification within 12 months to be maintained through subsequent continuous professional development. You’ll also develop: Knowledge of product and transaction types, such as repos, margin loans, derivatives, synthetic and true sale securitisation structures An understanding of credit policy, economic, legal, regulatory and specialist sector issues, along with underwriting processes and systems The ability to read, understand and challenge legal documentation Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work well as part of a team Hours 35 Job Posting Closing Date: 22/03/2026 Ways of Working:Hybrid
