Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership Be a key contributor to the Senior Leadership Team, helping guide our strategy and long-term growth. Work with department heads to support development, efficiency, and smart decision-making. Build compelling business cases and model ROI for future projects. Financial Management Oversee all budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow. Prepare clear, insightful financial reports and present them to the Board. Identify ways to boost profitability through smarter processes and cost control. Operational Oversight Lead day-to-day financial operations including accounts, payroll, HMRC submissions, and reporting. Ensure financial compliance and support ongoing audits and regulatory needs. Take ownership of Company Secretary duties, ensuring Companies House requirements are met. Systems & Data Champion smarter data use across the organisation. Improve systems for financial reporting and analytics, working closely with IT. Help build a culture of data-driven decision-making. Procurement & Contracts Negotiate supplier contracts and manage procurement processes. Drive value across the supply chain and oversee monthly stock reporting. What We’re Looking For Essential Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, ACMA) with several years' post-qualification experience. Strong commercial awareness and experience in a financial management role. Skilled communicator, able to explain finance clearly to non-financial colleagues. Hands-on experience with Sage Line 50 and Excel (plus bonus points for wider systems knowledge). Solid financial modelling and dashboard presentation skills. Preferred Experience in leisure or childcare/early years sectors (useful, but not essential). Knowledge of procurement, cost control, and negotiations. A data-savvy mindset with a passion for continuous improvement. Why Join Us? Salary – Competitive, based on experience.
