The Role
As a Production / Process Operative, you will be responsible for operating machinery that mixes liquids/chemicals and composite materials You will work with pre-weighed raw materials, following precise instructions to produce batches that may take 1–2 days to complete.
Key responsibilities include:

Loading liquid and solid raw materials into mixing vessels
*
Monitoring and managing batch production processes
*
Supporting multiple production vessels when required
*
Packing finished products into pails, drums, or IBC containers
*
Maintaining accurate production records
*
Following strict health and safety procedures, particularly when working with hazardous chemicals
*
Keeping the work area clean, safe, and organised
*
Supporting wider factory duties when required
You will also benefit from full rotation across different areas of the factory, gaining experience in:

Wet mix processes
*
Dry mix compounding
*
Different machinery and manufacturing technologies

Willing to learn about hazardous chemicals and manufacturing processes

Good numeracy and written English skills
*
Able to work towards production deadlines
Qualifications & Experience
Essential:
*
GCSE Maths and English (Grade 4 / C or above)
Desirable:
*
FLT (Forklift Truck) experience – preferred but not essential
Pay & Benefits
*
Salary: Approx. £29,200 per year
*
Working hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
*
25 days annual leave
*
Pension scheme – 8% employer contribution / 1% employee minimum
