Due to increasing numbers of self assessment clients, we now require a Personal Tax Senior.
The Role
Reporting directly to the Tax Director, the primary focus will be the preparation and filing of self assessment returns for individuals including sole traders, directors, landlords and HNWI.
We are keen to help the successful applicant develop their own career by enabling them to ultimately reach a position of self sufficiency. As such, additional ancillary responsibilities may include:
o Onboarding and direct liaison with clients
o Administrative processes surrounding self assessment
o Relevant Company Secretarial functions, e.g. shares related, Confirmation Statements
o Preparation and filing of P11Ds
o Identification of tax planning opportunities
The Candidate
You will definitely need to have prior experience of preparing self assessment returns and possess a reasonable knowledge of personal tax regulations.
You may be qualified or part qualified but qualified by experience is just as good.
You should definitely have the ambition to progress whilst at the same time possessing the attention to detail and communication skills that dealing with personal tax matters entails.
