Hays Education is working in partnership with a well-regarded Sixth Form College in Central London to recruit an enthusiastic and highly skilled A-Level Chemistry Teacher. Your new role
We are seeking a knowledgeable and inspiring Chemistry specialist to teach A-Level Chemistry to motivated students within a high-achieving college environment. The successful candidate will deliver engaging lessons, contribute to curriculum development, and support students in achieving excellent examination outcomes.
This post is part-time to begin with, with the potential to transition into a full-time, permanent role from September 2026, depending on performance and timetable requirements.
What you'll need to succeed
Candidates should demonstrate:
* A strong academic background, including a good degree from a leading university
* Excellent A-Level results (or equivalent)
* A-Level Chemistry teaching experience
* Experience in private or independent education is highly desirable
* ECTs are warmly encouraged to apply
* A passion for subject knowledge, high academic standards, and student success
* Strong communication, organisation, and classroom-management skills
