Our client is a leading industrial skills training provider, is seeking an experienced trainer to deliver bespoke courses across sectors including Health & Safety, Lifting Operations, Construction, Plant Machinery, and Civil Engineering. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, technically proficient, and customer-focused, with proven experience in delivering high-quality training.
Key Responsibilities – Trainer, Instructor, Assessor
* Ability to train People in specific skills and knowledge areas, in classroom and on sites
* To work within a team of other Trainers and Support Staff.
* Demonstrate, train and assess to specific requirements - Theoretical & Practical
* Travel to locations throughout the World (predominately UK) to deliver training
* Professionally represent company whilst on customer sites.
* Have the ability to know the business and needs of the trainees and their managers.
* Completion of pre & post training documentation.
* Efficient communication with trainees, customers and company personnel.
* Follow and adhere to all safety standards required
Qualifications & Requirements – Trainer, Instructor, Assessor
* 5 years minimum relevant sector(s) experience
* Must hold a Teaching, Instructor Card or “Train the Trainer” qualification
* Must be EFAW qualified and have a general Health & Safety qualification (NEBOSH, IOSH etc.)
* Must hold relevant sector instructor/operator licences
* Driving licence and Passport (when required)
* Be able to work as an individual, as well as in a team
* Have exceptional people and interpersonal skills.
* Be able to work with the team and always willing to assist, support and give ideas.
* Be outgoing and maintain a pleasant disposition.
* Be honest, reliable, punctual, flexible and resourceful
