We’re working with a highly regarded law firm who are looking for a fee earning Conveyancing Paralegal to join their busy property team in Liverpool. This is a great opportunity for someone with residential conveyancing experience who’s ready to take on their own files and progress their legal career within a supportive and well-structured environment.
You’ll be managing a caseload of residential property matters from instruction through to completion, with administrative support from a wider team. The ideal candidate will be confident handling transactions with minimal supervision and enjoy working in a fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities include:
* Managing a varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters, including sales, purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity
* Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders and solicitors throughout the transaction
* Drafting and reviewing contracts and legal documentation
* Ordering and reviewing searches and title documents
* Preparing completion statements and dealing with the exchange and completion process
* Ensuring all post-completion formalities are handled, including SDLT submissions and Land Registry applications
* Keeping internal systems and case files up to date
What we need from you:
* Previous fee earning experience within a residential conveyancing role
* Ability to manage a caseload with minimal supervision
* Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
* Confident communication skills and a client-focused approach
