Senior Quantity Surveyor – Major Refurbishment Project | Highlands
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a leading main contractor on a £13 million refurbishment project based in the Scottish Highlands.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the commercial aspects of the project from pre-construction through to final accounts, working closely with the wider project and client teams to ensure cost control, contract compliance, and successful delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee all commercial activities across the project lifecycle
* Prepare and manage valuations, variations, and final accounts
* Ensure contract compliance (NEC, JCT, SBCC)
* Provide cost advice and reporting to senior stakeholders
* Manage subcontractor procurement and payments
What We’re Looking For:
* Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
* Proven track record delivering large-scale refurb projects with a main contractor
* Strong understanding of NEC, JCT or SBCC contracts
* Excellent communication, negotiation and analytical skills
* Ability to work independently and manage workload across a remote site
