Job Title: Estimator - Flat Roofing
Location: Bedford Head Office
Salary: £40,000 - £65,000 per year (Negotiable based on experience)
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (1-hour lunch)

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Flat Roofing Estimator with strong refurbishment knowledge to join our Bedford-based estimating team. You will play a key role in preparing accurate tenders and supporting project success.
Roofing Estimators Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare competitive and accurate tenders for flat roofing refurbishment projects
* Conduct site visits if required, take-offs, and material assessments
* Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure clarity in costings
* Assist with project handovers to the contracts team
* Stay updated on industry standards, materials, and installation techniques
About the successful roofing estimator:
* 2–5 years’ experience in flat roofing estimating (refurbishment focus preferred)
* Proven track record in commercial and/or residential projects
* Strong numerical and analytical skills
* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel and estimating software (roofing-specific packages advantageous)
* Willing to undergo DBS check (provided by company)
