£24,908 - £27,033 per annum (Based on an FTE of £28,725 – £31,176)

About the role:
Cardiff and Vale College are looking for an Inclusion Coach to work across all campuses, supporting learners with additional learning needs (ALN).
Responsibilities include:
* Providing one-to-one, group, and in-class support for learners with ALN to help them reach their full potential.
* Actively encouraging learners to work towards their individual targets, helping them to make choices and become more independent.
* Maintaining records to monitor the progress of learners using observations, learner responses, and support plans.
* Monitoring and reporting on statistical information regarding recruitment, retention, and success of learners with ALN.
* Using person-centred practices to ensure young people with ALN are at the heart of their education at CAVC.
* Collaborating with specialist support staff to identify person-centred and meaningful support strategies to ensure the success of learners with ALN.
Candidate requirements:
The successful candidate will preferably be educated to degree level or have relevant experience and possess an English and Maths GCSE (or equivalent).
While the ability to speak Welsh is not essential, we welcome candidates who are fluent and can engage with learners through Welsh.
