The successful Commissioning Engineer will focus on electrical controls, fault finding and getting machines up and running both in-house and on customer sites. Key aspects of the Commissioning Engineer role include; * Commissioning Engineer will carry out electrical fault finding, working through test procedures and getting machines operational * Set up drives and motors, ensuring systems are running correctly and safely * Modify and interrogate PLC code, typically Siemens based systems * Support FAT and SAT activities and ensure machines meet performance criteria * Commissioning Engineer will work on a wide range of bespoke machinery used across multiple sectors * Liaise with customers on site and provide technical support when required Commissioning Engineer travel estimate; * Typically, 1–2 larger overseas jobs per year lasting 4–6 weeks * Smaller trips tend to be 7–10 days * Travel mainly to the USA and mainland Europe This Commissioning Engineer position will suit someone with a strong electrical background who enjoys faul...
