Hull & Fiber Operator - Headland, AL
ADM - Golden Peanut
This is a full time, hourly position
Job Requirements:
To be considered for an opportunity, candidates must meet the following criteria:
1. Ability to learn and understand necessary quality controls and procedures
2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
3. Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
4. Ability and desire to plan, organize and perform with limited supervision
5. Valid Driver License
6. Able to operate a commercial vehicle
7. Able to operate a skid steer/front-end loader
8. Able to learn and complete necessary paperwork
9. High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
10. Able to meet physical requirements of the position, including, but not limited to: prolonged periods of standing and sitting, working in confined spaces, from heights: bending, kneeling, climbing stairs and ladders, working in a variety of conditions (heat, cold, dust, etc.) and lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted
11. Willing and able to work shift with variable start time, weekends and holidays, as needed
12. Willing and able to work overtime (as needed), during seed and harvest seasons
13. Demonstrate initiative to work independently, while flexible enough to work in a team setting (when needed)
14. Exhibit a professional image at all times, maintain a positive and respectful attitude
Job Responsibilities:
15. Commitment to ADM’s goal of achieving a zero injury culture
16. Full compliance with all Employee Safety and Food Safety laws, regulations and rules of Golden Peanut Company and ADM
17. Perform and assist with the following:Collecting hull samplesLoading hull trucksLoad sample truck and deliver samples to labCheck oil & clean air filters on front-end loaderMonitor and report warehouse levelsFill out corresponding paperwork for trucks & samplingPerform sanitation in work area.
18. General machinery operation
19. Perform and follow all safety procedures outlined in company written procedures
20. Work cooperatively with Management Team and co-workers
21. Exhibit prompt and regular attendance
22. Any other duties assigned by Supervisor

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.
If hired, employees will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base pay (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
The pay for this position is expected to be:
$18.00/hr.
