We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to spearhead the development of an innovative public transport model for Perth and Kinross that meets the diverse needs of our communities. This model must be affordable, sustainable, efficient, and effective. To achieve this, you must be able to collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure the project and actions are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. Your main accountabilities will be to: • Lead the successful development and implementation of the public transport transformation project. This will include consultation and delivery of training to stakeholders where required. • Lead on the development and monitoring of the key workstreams and the implementation of this work across the organisation. • Support with the development of the business case and options appraisal outlining the potential models of public transport for Perth and Kinross. • Support with the development of key reports and papers for committee and other working groups. • Engaging with stakeholders, facilitating and designing engagement workshops where appropriate and advising on project development areas due to feedback. • Work with key services to develop tests of change, revised procedures and new ways of working in order to meet the overall aim of the project and to create efficiencies. Skills & Experience Required To join us in this role, we would expect you to possess: • Educated to degree level or equivalent experience in a relevant area • Knowledge and experience of public transport and project leadership, implementation and monitoring. • Experience of developing effective external and internal relationships You must have a valid UK driving licence as this post requires you to travel to a variety of locations across Perth and Kinross.
