Preston Park is looking for an experienced and exceptional class teacher who is interested in leading computing across the school, to join our vibrant school starting in September 2026.

Class Teacher Salary: Main Pay Scale MPS 1-6: £40,317.00-£52,300.00 UPS 1-3: £57,632.00 - £62,496.00 Inner London plus TLR 2.1 £3,527.00

Preston Park are working towards becoming a recognised school leading on STEAM, Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Maths. Preston Park’s approach to learning is through a creative curriculum and the school has specialist teachers in Science, Music and Art who provide PPA cover to our teachers.

We are looking for a creative and committed outstanding teacher to join our successful team. We guarantee an outstanding work environment, superb resources and an inspirational team to work with. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher to move into middle management, by leading a curriculum subject. The candidate must have a passion for teaching computing curriculum across the school.

• Experienced and highly skilled in delivering the primary curriculum

• Highly knowledgeable on how children learn

• Innovative, passionate about teaching and with a ‘can do’ attitude

• A consistently Good and Outstanding classroom practitioner with high expectations (no excuses) of accelerated progress

• A team player with energy, stamina and lots of creativity and fresh ideas

• Resilient and able to hit the ground running

•Knowledge of computing curriculum is essential

•Previous experience of leading a curriculum subject area

• Skilled to effectively teach children for whom English is an additional language

We are seeking individuals who have a degree or equivalent and a teaching qualification/QTS
