Job Overview: Working within our existing Customer Services team based in Ballynure, Co Antrim, this person will act as the initial point of contact for our customers and partners. The role involves managing customer enquiries, coordinating information between departments and supporting the smooth day-to-day running of transport operations. You will work closely with colleagues across the business to ensure customer requirements are understood and communicated effectively, helping to maintain service standards and support efficient service delivery. Key Responsibilities: Provide a high standard of customer service, ensuring customer enquiries are handled promptly and professionally. Act as a key point of contact for customers, providing updates on collections, deliveries and service queries. Accurately input and maintain collection and delivery information across internal and partner operating systems. Liaise with operational teams and partners to ensure customer requirements are communicated and transport activities are coordinated effectively. Investigate service queries or issues and work with operational teams to support timely resolution. Support the delivery of agreed service levels and operational performance targets. Oversee the processing of customs declarations and related administrative activities Undertake general administrative duties as required in support of the role. Build and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders across all divisions. Operate in line with organisational policies, procedures and IT governance standards. Contribute positively to team objectives and support continuous improvement initiatives. Undertake any other reasonable duties aligned to the role, as required. The Person: The successful candidate will: Have excellent verbal, written, and communication skills with the ability to communicate across different media (e.g. Telephone, e mail and electronic messaging) Have high levels of accuracy and attention to detail. Have the ability to prioritise workload in a fast-paced environment Be passionate about delivering outstanding customer service to our customers and partners Problem-solving and issue resolution skills Strong overall I.T. knowledge as there will be exposure to several different operating systems. Essential Criteria: At least one year's experience using IT systems, including Microsoft Office applications, with the ability to accurately input and maintain operational or customer information. Desirable Criteria: Previous experience working in a fast-paced office environment, managing a high volume of calls, emails and administrative tasks. At least one year's experience in a customer service role, preferably within a transport, logistics or operational environment. Experience using transport management systems (TMS), logistics platforms or customer order management systems.
