About the Fleet Administrator Role The Fleet Administrator is a key player in keeping business-critical vehicles road-ready, compliant, and cost-efficient. This is a role that blends sharp admin skills with real-world problem-solving think managing breakdowns, tracking maintenance, supporting drivers, and handling fleet compliance. Youll operate at the centre of a busy and high-performing team, helping maintain one of the UKs hardest-working fleets. Key Responsibilities of the Fleet Administrator Coordinate the service, maintenance, and repair of fleet vehicles across the UK Manage MOTs, road tax, breakdowns, and insurance MID compliance Monitor fleet downtime and support vehicle recovery Liaise with engineers and escalate issues when necessary Maintain fleet management system with up-to-date vehicle logs and actions Monitor and manage the Fleet Admin email inbox and communications Upload daily maintenance work orders and assist with scheduling Raise purchase orders and reconcile invoices at month-end Support the onboarding/offboarding process for drivers and vehicles What Were Looking For in a Fleet Administrator Must-Have Experience & Attributes: Experience in motor trade, fleet maintenance or logistics support Strong administration and organisation skills with razor-sharp attention to detail Confident communicator both verbal and written Calm under pressure and confident solving practical vehicle-related challenges Tech-savvy with a proactive, hands-on attitude Holds a Full UK Driving Licence Desirable But Not Essential: Qualifications in business administration or related field Experience with FORS accreditation or similar logistics standards Familiarity with fleet tracking systems and service platforms Why Apply for the Fleet Administrator Role?
