About The Role

Be part of this ‘once in a generation’ project that will deliver clean energy to 6 million homes for the next 60years. Sizewell C will see the creation of a 3.2 Gigawatt nuclear power station on the Suffolk coast to provide reliable load low-carbon electricity.

The Civil Works Alliance is an extended delivery enterprise involving Sizewell C and three international construction companies: Balfour Beatty, Bouygues Travaux Publics and Laing O’Rourke.

We are more than just an alliance, we are bringing together a single delivery organisation with years of learning and experience from other major complex infrastructure programmes worldwide.

What you'll be doing

The scope will include a list of activities to coordinate all the logistics operations within the civils project

Including But Not Limited To The Following


* Primarily to support all programmes across the Civilis Work Alliance, initially helping the Enabling and

Earthworks portions then the Main civils works.

* Main function is to Manage the Delivery management system, by taking ownership of the management

of this element of the scheme. Become familiar with the inputting of that data to ensure smooth

operations of deliveries on site.

* Produce weekly/monthly reports covering planned vs actuals to be able to further forecast delivery

performance and offer improvements to the process.

* Logistics and Office management support once site become’s established.

And specific tasks to aid the productivity of the logistics tasks within the civil project of:

* Internal movement and planning of workforce
* Time and attendance
* Internal transportation of freight
* Stores and consumable replenishment and stocking capabilities
* Oversee coordination of project traffic management plans
* Oversee project vehicle & pedestrian movements
