Good Afternoon,

I am currently representing Enfield Council, who are offering an initial temporary contract for a period of 3-6 months with a view to be extended or offered a permanent position for the right candidate at a rate which is negotiable dependent upon experience

We are looking for a Victims & Restorative Justice Worker role will be: Hybrid Working EN1 3ES

The right candidate will:

As a Victims and Restorative Justice Worker, you will deliver a high-quality, responsive and individualised service to victims, in line with the HMIP Victims’ Standard. You will ensure victims receive clear and timely information about restorative processes, tailored support, opportunities to make informed choices about their involvement, and a safe and empowering experience throughout their engagement with the Service.

* Provide information, advice and support to enable victims to participate in restorative processes at a level of their choosing.

* Undertake victim assessments in line with policies and procedures and ensure plans are responsive to individual needs and risk.

* Support the development and delivery of victim and restorative justice interventions.

* Deliver one-to-one and group work with children and young people, using restorative approaches.

* Facilitate restorative justice conferences and other restorative processes, ensuring participants are prepared and supported throughout.

* Contribute to positive restorative outcomes for victims, children and young people, and the wider community, strengthening service arrangements to improve the quality of victim services.

We require the following:

* Experience of working with victims and/or delivering restorative practice in a youth justice, community safety, social care, policing or related setting.

* Confidence facilitating restorative conversations, meetings or conferences (or willingness to undertake training and work towards this).

* Strong assessment, recording and organisational skills, with a commitment to quality and timeliness.
