Scarisbrick Hall School seeks an innovative, passionate and suitably qualified Science tutor to join our School as soon as possible in a self employed role. The successful applicant will possess the necessary skills to deliver the highest quality teaching at Scarisbrick Hall School.
Main Duties and Responsibilties
* Deliver tuition and intervention programs to individuals or small groups preparing relevant and appropriate learning experiences in conjunction with the school curriculum
* Support pupils in overcoming hurdles or barriers to learning
* Assist in the development of suitable intervention material
* Keep a log on pupils who undertake tutoring and assist on the recording and reporting procedures
* Liaise regularly with the Head of Faculty and teachers to inform them of progress and provide relevant feedback as appropriate
* Support exam revision sessions
* To attend relevant meetings that relate to the job role
* To comply with the safeguarding procedures of the school
* Undertake other reasonable duties (with competence and experience) as requested, in accordance with the changing needs of the organisation
