About The Role
TC Facilities Management are looking for an Operations Support Manager to join a busy Distribution Centre contract. This is a field-based role, ideally located between Bathgate and Dundee. You will be responsible for the effective management of the facilities management service for the site, working in partnership with the client.
* Strategic leadership and effective management of a large janitorial team across soft services.
* Robust plan to deliver cost and efficiency improvements while maintaining health and safety and COSHH legislation.
* Proactive communication with site colleagues, both written and verbal, to ensure understanding of customer needs and on-site issues, prioritizing customer satisfaction.
* Provision of a high quality, safe, and clean environment.
* Effective and efficient management of colleague relations, including recruitment and leadership.
* Ability to understand and analyze key data to deliver KPIs.
* Experience in managing large teams.
* Travel between sites (driving license required due to remote locations).
* Deliver services according to FM strategy, site service charter, and SLAs.
* Manage onsite FM projects as agreed with the Project Team.
* Serve as a key interface between on-site client and service providers.
* Monitor and report on SLAs and KPIs.
* Oversee supply partner service delivery and customer interface.
* Financial tracking and reporting within budgets and service levels.
* Develop continuous improvement initiatives for hard services and customer engagement.
* Manage departmental audits and statutory compliance.
* Maintain customer relationships and meet expectations within specifications.
* Handle employee relations per HR policies, valuing diversity.
* Train and induct colleagues on roles, standards, and policies.
* Ensure adherence to Health, Safety, and COSHH policies.
* Respond to emergencies or urgent issues appropriately.
* Build and maintain professional relationships.
* Make decisions considering customer relationships and obstacles.
* Prioritize customer needs and use initiative for problem-solving.
* Set and review performance standards, coach, and address issues constructively.
* Work effectively across regions and departments.
