Role reports to:
General Manager
Role Function:
To manage the pre-press and print production areas, covering all printing processes. To ensure the department achieves the production plan efficiently and effectively regarding labour, material usage, and other budgetary constraints.
To achieve or exceed budgeted machine performance efficiencies.
Required experience:
* Knowledge of flexographic printing presses
* Minimum 5 years in manufacturing or FMCG environment, with management experience
* Excellent organisational and analytical skills
* Computer literacy with advanced Excel skills
* Proven track record of efficiency and profitability improvements
* Professional training in management disciplines and understanding of modern tools and techniques
* Strategic approach with strong problem-solving and analytical skills
* Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement techniques, demonstrated at a practical level
* Strong awareness of current HSE and employment legislation
